On November 6, the first Italian Data Center Day took place in Milan, an event that offered around 400 students from over ten technical schools and universities the chance to explore data center infrastructures and engage with top industry professionals.
The initiative was organized by the ‘Education and Talent’ Committee of IDA – Italian Datacenter Association, which includes Cinetix among its members, and was hosted across five different data centers in the city, generously made available by operators CDLAN, Data4 Group, Equinix, Retelit and STACK Infrastructure.
Cinetix participated in the event at the Avalon3 data center by Retelit, where over 70 students from ISS Falcone Righi in Corsico and ITT Buonarroti in Trento were welcomed.
For us at Cinetix, it was a great source of pride to contribute to this project: we are firmly convinced that the growth of the data center sector in Italy depends on developing advanced specialized skills, achievable only by strengthening the dialogue between the educational and professional worlds. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the students, teachers, school administrators, and the Retelit team, who skillfully presented the features of this rapidly evolving industry with precision and passion.
